Your rights

Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698, by applying to the data controller you may:

Learn whether your personal data is processed.
Request information if your personal data has been processed.
Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used for that purpose.
Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your personal data is transferred.
Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data.
Request deletion or destruction of personal data under the conditions in the Law.
Request that correction, deletion or destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred.
Object to an adverse result arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems.
Claim compensation if you suffer damage because personal data was processed unlawfully.

In writing: hand in a request signed in ink at the notification address Güllük Mah. Sağlık Sok. Faika Mithat Sözer İş Merkezi B Blok No:5/3 Daire:101, Adapazarı/Sakarya, or send it there by post or through a notary; please mark the envelope "Information request under the Personal Data Protection Law".

Information your application must contain

Your application must be in Turkish and contain the information below; an e-mail or letter containing it takes the place of an application form:

First name and surname.
For citizens of Türkiye, the Turkish identity number; for foreign nationals, nationality and passport number or identity number, if any.
Place of residence or business address for notifications.
E-mail address for notifications, if any.
Subject of the request: the right you wish to exercise and a description of your request, with any relevant information and documents.
A signature, for written applications.

Identity verification

Because personal data may be disclosed only to the person concerned, the applicant's identity is verified; if it cannot be verified from the information in the application, further information or documents may be requested.

Response time

Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest from receipt of the application. The answer is sent in writing or electronically to the e-mail or notification address given in the application.
